#BORUTO Opening Baku by Ikimonogakari Gets Digital Release

The BORUTO: NARUTO NEXT GENERATIONS 8th opening theme, “BAKU” by Ikimonogakari, will be getting a full digital album release on February 24. Milan Records announced that the album will also feature “Blue Bird (Slushii Remix),” remixed by DJ Slushii. The music video is now streaming on Ikimonogakari’s official YouTube channel. 

The album will also feature Ikimonogakari’s “Blue Bird” and “Hotaruno Hikari,” which were featured in NARUTO SHIPPUDEN in 2008 and 2009. Both songs continue to be iconic and popular with “Blue Bird” reaching #4 in Spotify’s “2020 Most streamed Japanese songs overseas.” 

The album cover is an homage to the cover of “Blue Bird” from 2008 featuring Boruto Uzumaki, Mitsuki, and Sarada Uchiha. 

BORUTO: NARUTO NEXT GENERATIONS is currently streaming on Crunchyroll, with new episodes released every Sunday.
