TOHO has released a new trailer for the Haikyu!!: Decisive Battle at the Garbage Dump movie to celebrate its box office performance (it has made over 5.1 billion yen, or roughly ~US$33.9 million, since its February 16 premiere).

Aside from that, it was announced that English-subtitled screenings for Haikyu!!: Decisive Battle at the Garbage Dump will begin on March 15. The participating theaters are TOHO Cinemas Hibiya, TOHO Cinemas Shinjuku, TOHO Cinemas Roppongi Hills, Midland Square Cinema, Yokosuka Humax Cinemas, Toho Cinemas Umeda, Cinema Box Taiyo,  Cinema Rycom, and United Cinema Parco City Urasoe.

Haikyu!!: Decisive Battle at the Garbage Dump adapts the Spring Nationals match between Karasuno and Nekoma. It is the latest Haikyu!! anime since 2020’s Haikyu!! To The Top, the fourth season of the series.

Haikyu!! is based on the Shueisha-published manga by Haruichi Furudate, which was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from 2012 to 2020 and is collected into 45 tankoubon volumes. Viz Media describes the manga as:

After losing his first and last volleyball match against Tobio Kageyama, “the King of the Court,” Shoyo Hinata swears to become his rival after graduating middle school. But what happens when the guy he wants to defeat ends up being his teammate?!

The first season premiered in 2014. An announcement revealing that there will be a two-part Haikyu!! Final movie was made in 2022.
