Beyoncé has an announcement she had planned for Tuesday due to the ongoing wildfires in Los Angeles. The January 14 date was signalled at the end of her NFL Christmas Day Halftime Show, with fans expecting major news. However, they will have to wait a little longer with Beyoncé choosing to delay the reveal in solidarity with those who have been affected by the fires ravaging California.

“The January 14th announcement will be postponed to a later date due to the devastation caused by the ongoing wildfires around areas of Los Angeles,” she wrote in a statement shared online.

“I continue to pray for healing and rebuilding for the families suffering from trauma and loss. We are so blessed to have brave first responders who continue to work tirelessly to protect the Los Angeles community.”

She then urged fans to support wildfire relief efforts via her non-profit organisation BeyGOOD. Earlier this week it was revealed that Beyoncé had donated $2.5million to the L.A. fire relief fund in through her charity foundation.
