The Beast Tamer (Yuusha Party o Tsuihousareta Beast Tamer, Saikyo Shuzoku Nekomimi Shoujo to Deau) anime adaptation has received a second trailer, which previews the newly announced ending song “LOVE&MOON” by Marika Kouno and more scenes of the main cast. An October 2 Japanese premiere was revealed as well.

Additionally, MADKID was announced as the artist for the opening song “Change The World,” while Minami Tanaka and Maria Sashide were announced as the voices of Sora and Luna respectively. A second visual was also released

Crunchyroll previously announced that it will stream the show in October.

The Square Enix-published Beast Tamer manga began in 2019 and will release its seventh tankoubon volume on September 7, 2022. It is serialized on Manga Up! and published under the Gangan Comics Up! label.

The manga itself is based on the Kodansha-published light novel series written by Suzu Miyama with illustrations from Hotosoka that also began in 2019. The light novel series has eight volumes as of July 2022. The story began as a web novel on Shousetsuka ni Narou in 2018.

Beast Tamer‘s plot involves Beast Tamer Rain being kicked out of the Hero’s party, with the latter unaware of how much Rain’s power contributed to their ability to fight the Demon King’s forces. Now on his own, Rain decides to become an adventurer, meeting a girl from the powerful Cat Spirit Tribe in the process.

The anime is directed by Atsushi Nigorikawa (A Destructive God Sits Next to Me) with Takashi Aoshima (Kaginado) as series composer and Shuuhei Yamamoto (Kakushigoto) as character designer. Yuuki Hayashi (Backflip!!), Alisa Okehazama (Jujutsu Kaisen co-composer), and Naoyuki Chikatani are composing the music. EMT Squared is the animation production company.

Meanwhile, the main cast includes Shouya Chiba as Rain, Azumi Waki as Kanade, and Rumi Ookubo as Tanya.
