#Battle Athletes Daiundōkai ReSTART! Anime Gets New PV, Additional Cast, and April 6 Premiere Date

The official website for the upcoming anime, Battle Athletes Daiundōkai ReSTART! began streaming a new promotional video. The anime’s website also revealed its April 10 premiere date. The promotional video features the anime’s opening theme song “Cobalt no Kodō” (“Cobalt Heartbeat”) by Nanaka Suwa and reveals three new cast members.

The cast members include Saori Hayami (Anohana) as Yana Christopher, Akari Kitō (Adachi and Shimamura) as Lydia Gurtland, Hikaru Nanjō (Megami-ryō no Ryōbo-kun) as Paglira Respigh, Sumire Morohoshi (Hand Shakers) as Kanata Akehoshi, Yui Ishikawa (Attack on Titan) as Eva Garenstein, and Miyu Tomita (EX-ARM) as Shelley Wong.

The anime’s staff includes Noriyoshi Sasaki (Joshi Kausei) as director, Yōhei Kashii (Peter Grill and the Philosopher’s Time) as scriptwriter, Kazunori Haruyama (3×3 Eyes) as character designer, Hideo Nakahara (Grappler Baki: The Ultimate Fighter) as art director, Naoto Kondō (Gintama: The Final Movie) as color key artist, Kazuto Horikawa (King’s Game The Animation) as director of photography, and Toru Nakano (FLCL) as sound director. The animation production will be from Studio Seven.

Hisakuni (Infinite Dendrogram), Shingo Yamazaki (WATAMOTE), Takuma Sogi (Science Fell in Love, So I Tried to Prove it), Yūko Takahashi (Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood), Yasuhiro Gasa, Kazuki Tomita, and Kenta Yokochi are composing the music, while SUPA LOVE (Seven Senses of the Reunion) is credited for background music. The anime’s website previously announced that Reina Kondo (Dropout Idol Fruit Tart) will perform the anime’s ending theme song “Sakura Maichiru Yoru ni” (“On the Night When Cherry Blossom Petals Drift and Fall”).
