“#Bandai Namco Teases HI-DRIVERS Franchise With Input From Japanese Auto Industry”
Bandai Namco’s Arts subsidiary along with Sunrise have jointly announced the forthcoming launch of a new franchise which features input from multiple Japanese automotive brands working in close collaboration called HI-DRIVERS.
Japanese auto manufacturers Honda Motor Co., Subaru (Fuji Heavy Industries), Toyota Motor Corporation, and Nissan Motor Co., Ltd are working in collaboration with the aforementioned production companies to develop the franchise via mixed media, including development of dedicated social media channels with a specific emphasis on viewer participation, such as YouTube and Twitter.
More information on cast, staff and formats will be released at this year’s AnimeJapan expo in late March, with voice actors Yuri Ise, Hayato Dojima, Junichi Suwabe, Jun Fukuyama and Hiroyuki Yoshino confirmed to be in attendance for the official reveal.
