The upcoming sixth season of My Hero Academia is scheduled to premiere on October 1, 2022, The anime production team has also revealed a new key visual for the series, featuring Izuku Midoriya and his allies facing off against Tomura Shigaraki and members of the Paranormal Liberation Front. 

The main production staff from Season 5 returning to their respective roles include Kenji Nagasaki as chief director, Masahiro Mukai as director, Studio Orphee’s Yousuke Kuroda as series scriptwriter, Yoshihiko Umakoshi and Hitomi Odashima as character designers, and Yuuki Hayashi as music composer. Bones is once again handling the animation production for season six. 

Additionally, all voice cast members from previous seasons of My Hero Academia are returning to reprise their roles. 

The first season aired in April 2016, with the fifth season broadcasting from March 2021 to September 2021. Three anime-original films have also been released, along with two OVAs that were screened theatrically from June 16, 2022 to June 19, 2022.  

My Hero Academia is based on Kouhei Horikoshi’s manga series of the same name. It was first serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine on July 7, 2014 and has released 35 tankoubon volumes as of July 2022. The series is published under the Jump Comics label. 

Crunchyroll has streamed all seasons of My Hero Academia and will do the same for the sixth season. It describes the series as:
