#Back Arrow To Be Simulcast By Aniplus Asia On January 9

Aniplus Asia has announced that Back Arrow will premiere on January 9 at 12:30 AM (GMT+8), with new episodes every Saturday. Encores will also air on Saturday at 8:00 PM (GMT+8).

Back Arrow is one of the three Winter 2021 anime that will stream on Aniplus Asia, alongside  The Promised Neverland Season 2 and Bottom-Tier Character Tomozaki.

Goro Taniguchi (Code Geass) is directing the series, with Kazuki Nakashima (Promare) serving as series composer. Shinobu Ohtaka (Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic original creator) is credited as the original character designer, Toshiyuki Kanno (I want to eat your pancreas movie animation director) as the series’ character designer and chief animation director, Hidetaka Tenjin (Knight’s & Magic) as mechanical designer, and Masahiro Yamane (Accel World mechanical designer) as CG Action Supervisor. Kouhei Tanaka (Nura: Rise of the Yokai Clan, HYOUKA) is composing the music. Studio VOLN is in charge of animation production. 

The cast includes Yuuki Kaji (Attack on Titan The Final Season) as Back Arrow, Ami Koshimizu (My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU TOO!) as Fine Forté, Ari Ozawa (Monthly Girls’ Nozaki-kun) as Elsha Lean, Aya Suzaki (Sing “Yesterday” for Me) as Atlee Ariel, Kenta Miyake (My Hero Academia) as Tae Howa, and Kensho Ono (JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind) as Bit Namital.

Anime News Network describes the series as: 

A mysterious man who goes by Back Arrow appears, equipped only with the knowledge that he is from beyond the Wall. To the people of Edger village and Lingalind, this comes as a surprise, as the Wall is the guiding force and protection of their lives. Back Arrow sets out on a journey to seek the truth, all while battling with himself.
