Surprisingly and without notice, Sony Music released the “Anime Hits 25th Anniversary Pokédition” today with some songs that have not been available for a long time!

A “Digimon” compilation was already published last year, and now an anime hits Pokédition has been published to mark its 25th birthday with 17 hits that were created during the RTL 2 era.

In addition to well-known songs like “Come on, catch them up”, the opening of the first season, the legendary PokéRAP or “Pokémon World”, it also includes classics from albums from that time such as “What kind of Pokémon are you?”, “How to become a master” or also «Vertania City».

“When we meet again” is brand new, which was originally an ending to the series but was never officially released. With this compilation, the openings from “Diamond & Pearl” will also be published for the first time outside of the broadcast on television.
