Alexa Datt is leaving the Big Apple for the Gateway to the West.
Bally Sports Midwest, home of the St. Louis Cardinals and Blues, announced Tuesday the 36-year-old Maryland native is joining its team as a reporter.
“So grateful for this opportunity & excited to get started!” she tweeted, waving hello to St. Louis sports fans.
Bally Sports Midwest is part of the group of regional sports networks owned by Sinclair Broadcasting.
Datt, who previously worked for SNY, announced last week that she was leaving MLB Network and NHL Network.
“To my MLB/NHL Network family, Thank you for 5+ years of putting up with me,” she wrote. “The laughter & the dance moves, my teeth chattering and bad singing. This is the most talented group of humans I’ve worked with and I’m honored you shared your talents with me.”
