#Actor/Singer Gen Hoshino Marries His Love Model/Actor Yui Aragaki

One of Japan’s most famous bachelors is now off the market, Gen Hoshino after it was announced that he had married Yui Aragaki, who has taken the top spot of Oricon’s most desired girlfriend and most desired female celebrity face for multiple years. The two worked side by side as husband and wife on the 2016’s TBS drama series The Full-Time Wife Escapist, bringing fiction to reality.

Gen Hoshino is one of the biggest faces in Japan right now. He provided the voice of the father in Mamoru Hosoda‘s Mirai, and was the lead male in Masaaki Yuasa‘s Night is Short, Walk on Girl. Hoshino also performed the hugely popular (read over 69 million views on YouTube) tribute song for the Doraemon franchise, which became the theme for the 38th Doraemon movie and then the TV anime series since 2019.

Yui Aragaki, also known as Gakki, is famous in her own right, coming up from being a model to being the face of the Code Blue franchise as the lead character. Aragaki became a viral hit when she danced in the ending theme to The Full-Time Wife Escapist, which was sung by Gen Hoshino, and saw her invited to be a judge at the prestigious Year-end NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen.

The pair thanked fans for their support and well wishes, hoping that their fans continue to watch over their “immaturity” warmly while they grow old together. We wish both of them well in their marriage!
