#3rd Selection Project Character Trailer Released

The upcoming Selection Project anime has received its third character trailer. The new trailer shines the spotlight on Hiromi Hamaguri, who hails from the Kinki (or Kansai) region.

Hiromi’s reasons for joining the titular Selection Project, an idol audition/reality show, is related how she is usually seen as being good-looking in a boyish sense instead of being called cute or pretty by others.

Selection Project to premiere in Japan on October 1. The staff includes Daisuke Hiramaki (Asteroid in Love) as director, Yūya Takahashi (Laughing Under the Clouds) as series composer, Kanna Hirayama (Rent-a-Girlfriend) as character designer, Studio Eater’s Yūta Sakashita (Diary of Our Days at the Breakwater) as art director, Kei Ishiguro (Sleepy Princess in the Demon Castle) as color designer, Go Takehiro (Ikebukuro West Gate Park) as photography director, and Stray Cats’ Yōhei Kisara (Azur Lane) as music producer. Doga Kobo is in charge of the animation production, while Dandelion is credited with the CG production.

Meanwhile, the cast includes Hinaki Yano as Suzune Miyama, Saku Mizuno as Rena Hananoi, Nozomi Nagumo as Hiromi Hamaguri, Ruri Arai as Nagisa Imau, Hina Youmiya as Nodoka Yagi, Yuka Iwahashi as Ao Yodogawa, Mizuna Shirakawa as Uta Koizumi, Miharu Hanai as Shiori Yamaga, and Shino Shimoji as Mako Toma.
