“#ZillaKami recruits Lil Uzi Vert on “BADASS””
The track serves as the follow-up to ZillaKami’s solo debut “Chains.”
City Morgue rapper ZillaKami and Lil Uzi Vert joined forces for the rock-inspired “BADASS,” which dropped on Friday. The single finds the pair trading brash bars over a bass-heavy guitar riff and distorted drums helmed by Yung Germ, and follows ZillaKami’s solo debut last month, “Chains.”
The track is the perfect blend of ZillaKami’s dark sound and Uzi Vert’s playful delivery, with Uzi managing to name-drop Nickelback over the course of his verse.
ZillaKami and his City Morgue bandmate SosMula dropped their second project, CITY MORGUE VOL. 2: AS GOOD AS DEAD, back in 2019.
