The stylish, self-tattooed Japanese experimental hip hop duo—made up of NENE and Ryugo Ishida—navigate the busy Tokyo streets in the accompanying music video directed by Keigo Mochizuki.
The two previously appeared in the music video for “555” with JNKMN and rap group JODY off the latter’s self-titled album earlier this year, a left-field rap record that fuses electronica and SoundCloud rap, with loose structures untethered to traditional rhyming scheme, if not, utterly devoid of it.
In 2019, Yurufawa Gang collaborated with Canadian producer and DJ Ryan Hemsworth for the excellent joint 7-track EP, CIRCUS CIRCUS.
