#Yuki Yuna is a Hero Season 3 Trailer Released

Yuki Yuna is a Hero: Dai Mankai no Shou, the third season of the Yuki Yuna is a Hero (Yuuki Yuuna wa Yuusha de Aru) magical girl series, has received a trailer. The show will premiere in Japan on October 1.

The first half of the trailer introduces the characters and their respective cast members while showing lighthearted scenes, while the second half previews the show’s action sequences. The trailer includes the line, “This is the story told until now, and the story that will be told from now.”

The staff of Yuki Yuna is a Hero: Dai Mankai no Shou (Yuki Yuna is a Hero: The Great Full Blossom Chapter) includes series alumni like Seiji Kishi as director, Makoto Uezu as series composer and scriptwriter, and Takahiro Sakai as character designer and chief animation director (BUNBUN is credited with the original character designs). 

D.K＆JWWORKS is credited with the concept art, while MONACA’s Keiichi Okabe (NieR: Automata) is the music composer. Studio Gokumi is the animation production studio. 

Meanwhile, the returning cast includes Haruka Terui as Yuki Yuna, Suzuko Mimori as Mimori Tougou, Yumi Uchiyama as Fuu Inubouzaki, Tomoyo Kurosawa as Itsuki Inubouzuki, Juri Nagatsuma as Karin Miyou, and Kana Hanazawa as Sonoko Nogi. 

Yuki Yuna Is A Hero: Dai Mankai no Shou was announced in August 2020. Prior instalments in the series include the first season in 2014, the second season (which consists of a prequel and sequel half titled The Washio Sumi Chapter and The Hero Chapter respectively) in 2017, and the Yuki Yuna is a Hero Churutto! short anime series in early 2021.

Aside from the anime, the Yuki Yuna Is A Hero franchise includes manga, light novels, and video games. The first Yuki Yuna Is A Hero media to be released was the Washio Sumi is a Hero light novel, which Yuki Yuna Is A Hero: The Washio Sumi Chapter is based on.
