Your Forma Unveils 2nd Special Visual After 9th Episode Premiere

A second special visual has been unveiled for the ongoing Your Forma TV anime series, shortly after the broadcast of the ninth episode on May 28, 2025. The anime first aired in Japan on April 2, 2025 and will run for 13 total episodes. 

Takaharu Ozaki (Goblin Slayer, Girls’ Last Tour) is directing the anime series, with Kazuyuki Fudeyasu (That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime seasons 1-3) as screenwriter and scriptwriter, with Chikashi Kadekaru (Mieruko-chan) as character designer and Tatsuya Kato (Dr. Stone, Demon Lord: 2099) as music composer. Geno Studio is handling the animation production. 

Meanwhile, the anime’s main voice cast includes:

The series began streaming in the U.S. and Canada on Samsung TV Plus. Outside Japan, it has also streamed on ADN, aniverse, Anime Generation, and Anime Key in Europe, Middle East, and Africa; Anime Onegai and andplay in Central and South America; and Bahamut, MyVideo, CHT, Hamivideo, bilibili, TVING, Wavve, Watcha, U+tv, SK Btv, Genie TV, Home Choice, D’LIVE, SKY LIFE, B’flix in Asia. 

The original sci-fi mystery light novel series is written by Mareho Kikuishi and illustrated by Tsubata Nozaki. It was first published by ASCII Media Works’ Dengeki Bunko imprint on March 10, 2021 and has released seven volumes as of April 2025. 

The light novels also inspired a 2021 manga adaptation illustrated by Yoshinori Kisaragi. The series was the grand prize winner of the 27th Dengeki Shosetsu Taisho. Yen Press licensed the light novels and manga adaptation for release in English.

REMOW licensed Your Forma for release outside Japan, describing the main synopsis of the series as: 

In 1992, a pandemic of viral encephalitis shook the world. The medical technology that saved humanity evolved into “Your Forma”—an invasive information device implanted into the brain. In this world where every sight, sound, and even emotion is recorded, investigating major crimes means diving into the collective data, a job reserved for special detectives called “Cyber Inspector.”

Echika Hieda, a prodigious “Cyber Inspector” assigned at an astonishingly young age, stands isolated by her exceptional talent. Her newly assigned partner is Harold, a blonde, blue-eyed humanoid “Amicus.” Together, this unrivaled duo will expose every hidden secret.
