#Young M.A Checks Into Rehab: 'Bouta Lose This Addiction'

According to VladTV, the Brooklyn spitter alerted her 6.5 million Instagram followers earlier this week she was, “bouta lose this addiction…omw to rehab.” She added in her Instagram Stories, “MAB I’ll be back.”

Then on Tuesday (June 22), Young M.A offered up a prayer asking her higher power for help.

“Loving God,” she began. “I pray that you will comfort me in my suffering, lend skill to the hands of my healers, and bless the means used for my cure. Give me such confidence in the power of your grace, that even when I am afraid, I may put my whole trust in you.”

While Young M.A didn’t specify her poison, she’s often photographed with what she calls her “sippy cup” and isn’t shy about her love of Hennessy. Several fans have speculated she’s getting help for alcoholism, but it has yet to be confirmed.

The 29-year-old rapper has spoken up about alleged drug use in the past. During an Instagram Live earlier this year, she snapped on someone who brought up coke.

“Yo, y’all be sayin’ some crazy shit,” she said. “Don’t say no shit like that on my Live, bro. Talkin’ ’bout sniffing coke off- what is this? Somebody said, ‘Sniffin’ glue- sniff coke off your strap.’ Y’all crazy, bro? For real? Like, come on son. Don’t talk like that, bro, on my Live, man.

“I don’t got people like that. You know what I’m sayin’? That coke shit? I don’t do that. I don’t pop no pills, I don’t sniff no coke, nothing, bro. The most I do — I drink and smoke some weed. Y’all n-ggs wildin’ with that shit. That shit ain’t even cute. For real.”
