BULLET/BULLET Web Anime Series Adds 8 More New Cast Members

Eight more additional new cast members have been announced for the upcoming original net animation series BULLET/BULLET. The series is expected to debut on Disney+ on July 16, 2025 and was first announced in 2022. 

The new additional cast (from left to right below) includes: 

• • Yoshihisa Kawahara as Breakfast 
• • Ai Kakuma as Afternoontea 
• • Nao Tamura as Lunch 
• • Mayumi Shintani as Brunch 
• • Ai Orikasa as Dinner 
• • Shinichiro Kamio as Tempura Sushimaru
• • Hironori Kondo as Destroinu
• • Yuichi Nakamura as Batter Center Saito 

They join the anime’s main voice cast that stars: 

• • Marina Inoue as Gear
• • Kazuhiro Yamaji as Shirokuma
• • Rie Kugimiya as Qu-0213 Nosa-ane
• • Kana Hanazawa as Qu-0213 Kau-ane
• • Tomokazu Seki as Qu-0213 Naka-ani
• • Ai Orikasa as Qu-0213 Ei-baba
• • Asami Seto as Noa
• • Makoto Furukawa as Barrel
• • Takamasa Mogi as Wheel
• • Yuki Kawai as Rin

Additionally, five more new screenshots from the series were also released. 

The first eight episodes of BULLET/BULLET will begin streaming on Disney+ under its “star” brand on July 16, 2025. Episodes 9-12 will be streamed on August 13, 2025 on the same day.  

The series is created by director Sunghoo Park (Ninja Kamui, Jujutsu Kaisen Season 1) and produced at his animation studio E&H production.

Other staff involved in the series include Aki Kindaichi (the upcoming Umamusume: Cinderella Gray) as series screenwriter, Takahiro Yoshimatsu (A Place Further Than the Universe) as character designer and chief animation director, Hidetaka Tenjin (Knights and Magic mechanical designer) as concept and mechanical designer, Shin Misawa (Initial D director) as car action director, Yoshiteru Tsujino (FLCL Grunge character designer) as “Gacha” designer, Fuminao Akai (Monsters 103 Mercies Dragon Damnation) as background art director, Chikako Kamata (Jujutsu Kaisen Season 1 and Jujutsu Kaisen 0, Monster) as color designer, and Ju-Mi Lee (Monsters 103 Mercies Dragon Damnation) as compositing director. 

BULLET/BULLET takes place in the near-future, where society has collapsed and has been turned into a vast wasteland. A junk shop seller named Gear teams up with a gambling addict named Shirokuma and a Qu-0213 robot, that has four distinct personalities, to run a “theft business” to retrieve items that were wrongfully stolen. 

One day, Gear receives a mysterious request from a girl named Noa, who is being chased down by an assassin that is trying to steal back an item. Suddenly, Gear and his friends are also being chased down by an armed group from the wasteland, as they may have stolen a secret item that can change the entire world.
