Last week, Yaeji announced With A Hammer, the highly anticipated debut studio album from the N.Y.C.-based producer and DJ. Today, she shares its lead single “For Granted,” a spritely electro-pop tune with a killer drum-and-bass breakdown, along with a self-directed music video. After COVID lockdowns I’d understand if you were a bit sick of seeing footage of people in their bedrooms, but Yaeji’s imaginative, effective, and colorful styles make it a joy to watch.
