#Wyze’s New $43 True Wireless Earbuds Will Survive Your Annual Trip to The Gym – Review Geek

Wyze recently announced the $60 Buds Pro, an excellent option for people who want ANC on a budget. But what about the gym rats? Well, Wyze just opened pre-orders for its Wyze Buds, which pack a killer battery life, a Transparency mode, and IPX5 sweat-resistance for just $43 (or $54 for the limited edition Electric Green model).

Update, 8/31/21 1:06 pm Eastern: The original article stated that Wyze’s Buds Pro lack IPX certification. They actually have an IPX4 splash-resistance rating.

Unlike the stemmed Wyze Buds Pro, the more affordable Wyze Buds lack ANC and wireless charging. But maybe that’s not a bad thing, because the new Wyze Buds are slimmer than their “Pro” counterpart and sport an IPX5 water-resistance rating. The “Pro” model has a less-secure IPX4 rating for splash-resistance, not consistent torrents of sweat.

Not only that, but the new Wyze Buds run for 7 hours on a charge (20 hours with the case). That’s a lot better than the Wyze Buds Pro’s 6-hour battery life (which dips to around 4.5 hours with ANC enabled). Other features include wear-detection (the earbuds pause when you take them out), Alexa, and of course, a ton of bass.

You can pre-order the Wyze Buds now for just $43. Wyze is also offering a limited-edition electric green model for $54. Both versions of the Wyze Buds ship in mid-September.
