Bryson DeChambeau has muscled his way into the PGA Tour spotlight, and his recent surge has him favored to win all three of golf’s scheduled majors in 2020.

Westgate Superbook has the bulked-up 26-year-old as the new betting favorite for the PGA Championship, the Masters and the US Open, coming in at 10/1 in each tournament. DeChambeau is also now a 7/2 favorite to win the FedEx Cup Championship.

This comes on the heels of DeChambeau’s victory over the weekend at the Rocket Mortgage Classic in Detroit, his first PGA Tour win of the season and the sixth of his career. DeChambeau, previously known as the resident Tour nerd, is now stunning fans and peers alike with his monster drives after packing on 40 pounds over the last eight months. He’s finished in the top eight in all four Tour events since play resumed following a coronavirus pause.

“This is a little emotional for me because I did do something a little different,” DeChambeau said after his win in Detroit. “I changed my body, changed my mindset in the game and I was able to accomplish a win while playing a completely different style of golf. And, it’s pretty amazing to see that. I hope it’s an inspiration to a lot of people.”

DeChambeau’s drives last weekend were so long that he broke ShotLink, the Tour’s shot-tracking system, because some of his drives were registered as approaches.
