“#World Trigger to Get Its First Stage Play Adaptation in Nov-Dec 2021”
It is officially announced in the latest April 2021 issue of Shueisha’s Jump Square magazine today that “World Trigger the Stage,” a stage play adaptation of Daisuke Ashihara’s sci-fi action manga World Trigger, is scheduled to be performed in Tokyo and Osaka from November to December 2021.
The catchphrases for the play are “A vivid science fiction action drama unfolds on the long-awaited stage!” and “Witness the stage of a new dimension.” Norihito Nakayashiki, known for his writing works for the successful stage play series Hyper Projection Engeki Haikyu!! from 2015 to 2021, serves as the writer/director.
The main four cast members are announced as below:
Yuuma Kuga: Keisuke Ueda (31 / Manami Sangaku in Yowamushi Pedal stage plays):
Osamu Mikumo: Takuya Mizoguchi (25 / Shin Oikawa in Dream Festival!)
Yuuichi Jin: Kensuke Takahashi (26 / Daichi Ozora in Ultraman X)
Chika Amatori: Arisa Sonohara (19 / Asahi Minato in Ultraman R/B)
