The Wonder Egg Priority Twitter page uploaded a new promotional video, one day before the anime’s premiere on January 12. The fantasy drama received its first PV on December 15, 2020.

The original anime’s staff includes Shin Wakabayashi (22/7: The Diary of Our Days) as the director, Yuuta Yamasaki as assistant director, Shinji Nojima (Homeless Child live action movie) as scriptwriter, and Saki Takahashi (Her Blue Sky co-animation director) as character designer and chief animation director. Other staff members include Yuuki Funagakure (Sore wo Ai to Yobu Dake music video concept artist) as art director, Takeo Ogiwara (Sarazanmai) as photography director, and Kazuko Nakashima (Her Blue Sky) as color designer. Cloverworks is in charge of the animation production.

The anime’s cast includes Kanata Aikawa (Idoly Pride) as Ai Ohto, Tomori Kusunoki (Deca-Dence) as Neiru Aonuma, Shuka Saito (ORESUKI: Are you the only one who loves me?) as Rika Kawai, and Hinaki Yano (Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club) as Momoe Sawaki.

Funimation describes the show:

Ai does her best not to interact with others. But when she stops by a deserted arcade one day, she gets a mysterious “Wonder Egg” from a gachapon machine that changes her fate.
