#Wonder Egg Priority Anime Gets New PV, Release Date, and Cast Listing

The official Twitter account and website for CloverWorks’ original TV anime Wonder Egg Priority began streaming a new promotional video for the upcoming anime, revealing the anime’s cast, staff, theme song artists, and January 12 premiere date. The website also unveiled a new key visual alongside the news.

The newly announced staff members include taracod as the concept artist, Yuta Yamazaki (Love Rice) as assistant director, Yusuke Kawakami (SSSS.Gridman) as the action director, Keisuke Kobayashi (I want to eat your pancreas, Anohana) as core animator, and Iori Hisatake (Mob Psycho 100 II) as guest character designer, and DE DE MOUSE and Clammbon bassist Mito as music composers.

Previously announced staff members include Shin Wakabayashi (22/7: The Diary of Our Days), as the director, Shinji Nojima (Homeless Child) as the scriptwriter, and Saki Takahashi (Her Blue Sky) as the character designer and the chief animation director. Hiroyuki Ueno (NTV) and Nobuhiro Nakayama (Aniplex) are the planning producers.

Other staff members include Haruhi Inoue as the prop designer, Otori and E o Kaku PETER as works designers, Yuki Funao as the art director, Takeo Ogiwara as the director of photography, Daisuke Hiraki as the editor, and Akiko Fujita as the audio director, with sound effects by Yuji Furuya, color setting by Kazuko Nakashima, and 3D CG by Boundary.

The anime’s cast includes Kanata Aikawa as Ai Ohto, Tomori Kusunoki (Deca-Dence) as Neiru Aonuma, Shuka Saito (ORESUKI: Are you the only one who loves me?) as Rika Kawai, and Hinaki Yano (Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club) as Momoe Sawaki. The four main voice actresses will perform the anime’s main theme song, titled “Anemoneria.”

Wonder Egg Priority’s website describes the story as:

The anime’s story begins when the protagonist, a 14-year-old girl named Ai Ohto, hears a mysterious voice while walking around town late at night. It gives her an egg and beckons to her: “If you wish to change the future, you need only choose now. Now, believe in yourself, and smash the egg.”
