It’s hard to make a call. Netflix doesn’t release the viewer numbers, making it hard to determine whether there were enough people initially tuning in and then watching all the way to the end of the season. Netflix will want to assess the number of people who start and finish a season to determine the rate of viewers. This helps to determine if there’s a chance the viewers will remain around for a third season.

This is the point when shows get exponentially more expensive. Netflix doesn’t want to take a big risk if there is reason to believe not enough people will tune in.

There needs to be a third season of the supernatural drama

Fans of The Order will agree that this is one of the most underrated dramas on the streaming service. That puts doubt on the future of the show. However, there needs to be a third season. There’s no doubt about that.

The second season ended with a death, a witch without powers, and a werewolf wanting to head back to the demon realm. It’s left plenty of questions for the characters. Fates are in the air and the future of the world is at risk.

This is one of those shows that’s packed with potential. There are so many storylines but they’re all handled with care and attention. The second season even got more development for the werewolves as a whole and Randall on his own, something that was missing during the first season.

It usually takes about a month or two to learn if a show is renewed or canceled. Hopefully, it’s good news for The Order.
