50 Cent has offered a response to the recent viral video of his hit song “In Da Club” playing before Ja Rule took the stage at a concert last month.

On Tuesday (January 10), the G-Unit Records boss took to Twitter once he got word of the clip which shows a crowd watching Ja’s team set up the stage while “In Da Club” rang off in the venue. 50 wasted no time commenting on the situation and reveled in its awkwardness.

The Queens legend said he wished he was behind the incident that night. “LOL Now this is some funny shit,” 50 said in his tweet. “I wish i had something to do with it http://gunitbrands.com.”

Check out 50 Cent’s response below:

The Murder Inc. rapper was gearing up to hit the stage at Power 106.9’s Jingle Jam at the Baxter Arena in Omaha, Nebraska, in December when 50’s 2003 hit started playing through the venue’s speakers.

In one clip that made its way online, members of Ja’s team rushed around on stage to get the song stopped. One person hurried to the mic and said: “Stop the show right here,” before another demands: “Aye, cut that shit off!”

In another video, a fan proclaimed 50 Cent’s dominance in his long-standing feud with Ja Rule while savoring the moment.

“Only in Omaha they gon’ play 50 at Ja Rule shit,” the fan said as “In Da Club” boomed throughout the arena. “They trying to get it cut off right now… That n-gga 50’s still winning!”

50 Cent and Ja Rule’s beef goes as far back as the late-’90s, with them having several run-ins with each other, including the time Ja was said to have been hostile to his rival at a club and when 50 was allegedly stabbed inside The Hit Factory in New York City by Murder Inc. rapper Black Child.

The early to mid-2000s saw the two hurl diss records back and forth, along with Ja throwing snitching allegations at 50 and obtaining an order of protection from a judge. Despite the rumors, 50 was able to topple Ja and the Murder Inc. crew, thanks to his relentless trolling and heavyweight album sales.

During an interview with HipHopDX in 2020, Ja Rule called 50 Cent a liar after people thought the media mogul bought 200 front-row tickets to one of his shows in 2018 to keep them empty.

“It’s cap, yo!” Ja said at the time. “He’s capping. King of cap, n-gga. I tell n-ggas, I say, ‘Yo, I got 10 stacks right now for anybody that can find footage of this foolery that this n-gga is talking about.’ Listen, we live in a world of fucking, everything is on video. Come on, man. Stop with the foolery, man!”

He continued: “Even the thought of it is still stupid, because n-gga, all you did if you did that, was put money in my pocket. And what you think the promoter is going to do? Have an empty venue? You let n-ggas in free or charge them again! It’s the dumbest shit ever, yo. But yeah, it’s cap. Never happened.”
