The wife of the US Air Force pilot who crashed and died during a training exercise in England remembered him as “perfect” and her “absolute best friend.”

Hanna Allen posted emotional tributes to Kenneth “Kage” Allen, the first lieutenant airman who died Monday after crashing his F-15C Eagle off the East Yorkshire coast into the North Sea.

“He is gone. I’m shaking,” Hannah wrote on Facebook, along with a sweet picture of the young couple. “Kage was perfect, never been treated with more love and respect in my life. He was my absolute best friend.”

In another post, the widow wrote that she “could fill an ocean with the tears I’ve cried today.”

“I can’t sleep but I can hear you telling me I need too [sic],” she wrote. “I know you’ll find a way to stay close. Thank you for choosing me.”

Kenneth, who grew up in northern Utah, was a member of the 48th Fighter Wing at the Royal Air Force Lakenheath in Suffolk, the largest US Air Force-run in England.

More than 4,000 American servicemen are stationed there, according to BBC News.

In a statement, the 48th Fighter Wing said it was “deeply saddened by the loss of Lt. Allen,” Sky News reported. He was assistant chief of weapons and tactics for the 493rd Fighter Squadron.
