Liar Season 2 continues on Sundance Now in July 2020

Some of the smaller streaming services are becoming the best, especially if you like well-written dramas and psychological thrillers. Sundance Now is no exception, especially with its July 2020 lineup.

Liar Season 2 continues throughout the month. There are two more episodes to air, wrapping up the series completely. Did Andrew kill himself? Did someone else do the deed? Was it Laura after all? You’ll get all the answers you need by the middle of the month.

So, what else can you watch? Sundance Now as a new Australian thriller heading our way. The Secrets She Keeps stars Laura Carmichael and Jessica De Gouw and is based on the Michael Robotham novel. When two heavily pregnant women meet in a supermarket, it looks like they could be best friends. However, they both have secrets they want to keep but will soon unravel.

Another series based on a novel (written by Carolina Neurath) is Blinded which will arrive at the start of the month. This foreign-language financial thriller is about Peder Rooth, a bank director having an affair with financial journalist Bea Farkas. Bea is given the task of monitoring Peder’s bank quarterly report, which leads to some secrets Peder is hiding. If you love Succession, you’re going to want to check this out.

It’s not all about thrillers and TV crime dramas. Idiomatic Season 2 is also arriving on Sundance Now in July 2020. This foreign-language series is about a left-wing couple in their thirties. They’re environmentally conscious, bilingual, and enjoy urban living. The second season picks up with the company settled in Helsinki with Aino’s unemployed brother and discussions of starting a family. Are they ready for a baby?
