“AZ man arrested for alleged assault, attempted kidnapping of pregnant woman”

Authorities in El Paso, Texas, arrested a suspect last week related to the alleged assault and attempted kidnapping of a pregnant real estate agent in Tucson, Arizona.

Juan Nunley Jr. was arrested Wednesday and booked as a fugitive from Arizona in the El Paso County Jail under the alias Donasti Davonsiea, according to court records reported by local Tucson outlet KOLD News 13.

Nunley allegedly assaulted the pregnant real estate agent with a weapon and attempted to restrain her while she was offering a home tour to a prospective buyer in Tucson on Oct. 8, according to police.

The real estate agent was able to escape and call 911, but she reportedly miscarried three days later because of her injuries, authorities said.

Following their investigation, detectives identified Nunley as the suspect and obtained an arrest warrant.

Authorities had been offering a $13,000 reward for information that would lead to Nunley’s arrest.

Nunley has been convicted of crimes and sentenced to jail multiple times in Pima County and Graham County, Arizona, during the past two decades, according to Arizona Department of Corrections records reported by Tucson.com.

The Tucson Police Department confirmed to Fox News Digital that Nunley had been taken into custody in El Paso, but was unable to provide further information by time of publication.

The Associated Press contributed to this report.
