#Who is Robert Trump? What to know about President Trump’s younger brother

Unlike his famous commander-in-chief brother, Robert Trump has largely flown under the radar in recent years.

The youngest of five children, the 72-year-old real-estate heir is quietly living his retirement years in Milbrook in upstate Dutchess County, NY. He is known for supporting a number of local charities, including serving as a trustee of the nonprofit Angels of Light and a horse-rescue group, according to Town and Country.

One local resident described Robert to the magazine as a classy and dignified guy.

“He’s not flamboyant,” the source said. “He couldn’t be more different than his brother, quite frankly. I don’t even know how they’re in the same family.”

Robert was most recently in the public eye to join the president’s fight against the release of their niece Mary Trump’s tell-all memoir, “Too Much and Never Enough: How My Family Created the World’s Most Dangerous Man.”

Robert sued to block the publication of the book, agreeing with his brother that it would violate a 2001 nondisclosure agreement barring her from speaking publicly about family members.

On Friday, Robert was hospitalized in New York and said to be “very ill.” Details of his condition are not known. In June, he spent more than a week in the intensive-care unit of Mount Sinai Hospital in Manhattan.

Saturdays are for the sharks.

Robert previously most notably made headlines with his divorce from philanthropist Blaine Trump — whom he allegedly cheated on with his secretary, Ann Marie Pallan.

He and Blaine, the vice chair of the board of directors of the charity God’s Love We Deliver, reached a secret settlement in 2010. The former couple of 25 years did not have any children.

Robert and Pallan, who have a home on Long Island, tied the knot in March.

Robert staunchly supported his older brother Donald’s run for the White House, telling Page Six in January 2016, “I support Donald one thousand percent.”

“I think he’s doing a great job. I think he’s got a great message,” said Robert, who described himself as “gainfully retired” at the time.

He briefly oversaw Donald’s casinos before leaving to take over their father’s real-estate business, the New York Times reported.

Of the other Trump children, Fred Trump Jr. died of alcoholism in 1981, Maryanne Trump Barry is retired as a senior judge on the US Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, and Elizabeth Trump is a retired Chase Manhattan Bank executive.
