Does your ice cream preference say more about you than you think? Strawberry ice cream fanatics are likely to find love earlier than their chocolate and vanilla ice cream loving counterparts, according to new research.

A poll of 2,000 Americans, split by their favorite ice cream flavor (vanilla, strawberry and chocolate), found that on average, strawberry ice cream lovers find love at age 24.

That’s a year before vanilla ice cream lovers and two years before chocolate ice cream lovers.

Other signs you might be a strawberry ice cream fanatic were found to be enjoying doing laundry, watching sci-fi movies and listening to the soothing sounds of jazz.

However, when playing truth or dare, it’s vanilla ice cream fans who won’t hesitate to say dare while chocolate ice cream lovers prefer the truth.

The study, conducted by OnePoll in conjunction with Breyers, aimed to discover the personality differences between Americans who prefer vanilla, chocolate and strawberry ice cream.

And results found vanilla ice cream fanatics are introverted, like dogs over cats, prefer washing dishes over doing laundry and are more commonly night owls.

This is different from chocolate ice cream lovers, who are more extroverted, enjoy a romantic comedy and love listening to pop music.

Chocolate ice cream lovers also tended to have more variety in their interests.

In addition to pop music, chocolate ice cream lovers prefer rock and R&B music compared to their vanilla and strawberry loving counterparts.

When it comes to the ideal way to enjoy ice cream, respondents prefer their scoops in cups — topped with three different toppings.

Chocolate chips rank as the number one ice cream topping among Americans surveyed, followed by hot fudge (49 percent), nuts (40 percent), whipped cream (37 percent) and caramel (35 percent).
