#Wax figures of celebs fill seats at NYC’s Peter Luger steakhouse

Is that Jon Hamm at the bar, holding a double scotch, neat? And tiara or no tiara — does Audrey Hepburn really dare light that cigarette?

Celebrities Hamm and Hepburn — plus Michael Strahan, Jimmy Fallon and Al Roker — have flocked to Brooklyn’s Peter Luger Steakhouse courtesy of Madame Tussauds.

The wax museum is helping the iconic steakhouse survive the pandemic with panache, by supplying the five celebrity figures to help fill out a dining room left mostly empty by the city’s 35-percent-capacity limit.

“I think a lot of people like it,” restaurant vice president David Berson told The Post of the figures, which were installed on Wednesday and will stay up until March 1.

“Some customers, when they first walk in, they don’t realize it’s a wax figure,” he added.

“Someone yesterday asked Jon Hamm if he knew where the bathroom was — as if he was almost an employee,” Berson said of the “Mad Men” star.

In real life, Hepburn died of cancer at age 63, but at Peter Lugers, she’s back in her pearls-and-bouffant heyday.

The bread has just arrived at her table where she and her improbable dining companion, Giants star-turned-TV-personality Strahan, have yet to tuck into their matching martinis.

“She’s all decked out,” notes Berson. “Jewels, everything. I think she has a cigarette in her hand but we’re trying not to let her smoke.”

The wax figure of hard-working NBC weatherman and TV personality Roker works hard at Luger’s, too.

“He’s by the stairs to the second-story dining room, pointing people the way up,” Berson joked.

Sadly, the wax figure of Fallon is dining alone. But the real-life “Tonight Show” host is planning to fix that sometime soon.

“He’s hoping to swing by and sit with his figure for dinner,” Berson said.

Customers shouldn’t expect any autographs, but it’s quite safe to lean in for a selfie, Berson added.

“They’re all COVID free,” he said of the celebrity diners. “And living their best lives.”
