A late rapper’s brother will open a Marathon legal dispensary in L.A. next month.
The work done by Nipsey Hussle and his brother, Samiel Asghedom, in developing their Marathon OG cannabis strain is captured in a new documentary. The 35-minute film, titled The Marathon (Cultivation), is available via YouTube and is streaming ahead of the opening of the first official The Marathon (Collective) flagship dispensary on June 18. Nipsey Hussle was shot and killed in 2019. Earlier this month Kendrick Lamar embodied the late rapper in a deepfake video for his song “The Heart (Part 5).”
