Yesterday, Charli XCX released “Every Rule,” another new song from the pop artist’s upcoming album Crash, out this Friday. In contrast to the album’s other supercharged singles, “Every Rule” is a crisp and stripped-down synth ballad about the perils and passions of adultery. Today, the music video has been released.

Co-starring Charli and A.G. Cook (who co-produced the song with Daniel Lopatin a.k.a. Oneohtrix Point Never), the “Every Rule” clip is a late night talk show performance in the clouds. Check it out above.

Crash will sport the previously released Charli singles “Good Ones,” “New Shapes” featuring Caroline Polachek and Christine and the Queens, “Beg for You,” and “Baby.”
