Last night’s Inauguration Day episode of The Late Show With Stephen Colbert featured a big group performance of the song “Together.” Chance the Rapper, Cynthia Erivo (star of Harriet and Genius: Aretha), Peter CottonTale, Kofi Lost, the Chicago Children’s Choir, and the Chicago Youth Symphony Orchestra played the song. Watch it happen below.
Peter CottonTale released “Together” in December. The track was made with contributions from over 80 Black artists, engineers, producers, musicians, and music executives.
Last month, Chance the Rapper returned with a new holiday song called “The Return.” He released his debut album The Big Day in 2019.
