#Warner Bros Should NOT Make DC Clark Kent Black & Introduce A Black Superman Based On Kal-El! » OmniGeekEmpire

Look, I’ll say it for those that won’t! Initially, I had no problems with Warner Bros trying the Black Superman thing had it been Kalel aka Calvin Ellis of Earth-23 or Val-Zod (Earth 2). However, now learning that they’re heavily considering this makes it that worse!

This right here is by far THE laziest way to create a “diverse & inclusive” character to date! Not only that, it proves my argument in this blog even further! You have to be able to see what I’m saying, instead of using the already established token characters depending on who you ask, which are Kalel aka Calvin Ellis of Earth-23 or Val-Zod (Earth 2), Warner Bros literally said these guys are too unknown and tried to play it save with the good ol’ race swap of an established character!

And the best part? No one wants it! If you go to Twitter or anything other social media, comics fans are also expressing their discontent with Warner Bros decision. Many are even going as far as to claim that this decision was made in light of them getting accused of racial discrimination against Ray Fisher who played Cyborg and they’re just trying to virtue signal and get the heat off of them.

And to put the icing on the cake, this version of Superman, won’t even be part of the DCU, so what even is the point! Why spent so much money on this movie if it’s going to be a one-off trend? I mean, if you really wanted to do something with a Black character, Miles Entertainment has been sitting on what is perhaps one of the most known characters right now, Static Shock! Seriously, please don’t support this, we need to stop this ridiculousness! If the Sonic fanbase can get their shit changed, the DC fans surely can do the same. I have my own reasons why I don’t want this to have which I explained here! Let me know what you guys think?
