Wale has officially called it a wrap on his annual WaleMania concert, ending the WrestleMania weekend tradition as it hits its 10-year milestone.

Taking to X ahead of this year’s event – which is being livestreamed on Netflix – the DMV native announced its conclusion.

“I hope everybody has a great time tonight . This will be the final Walemania,” he wrote. “Ten years lots of memories.. thank u to everybody who has showed up and showed out …”

Responding to people congratulating him, he added, “Labor of love my brother .. helluva run,” and, “Anybody who been paying attention knew this was inevitable. This the last hurrah.”

In a 2022 interview, Wale said of the annual event: “WaleMania has always been a passion of mine because it combines all of my loves into one place during a weekend that I always have the most fun. I love doing this for fans of myself and my music as well as the fans of professional wrestling because at the end of the day, I’m one of you too. I love that WaleMania has become the unofficial welcome to the big weekend party […].”

In other news, Wale recently credited J. Cole for helping him overcome a bad case of writer’s block.

He wrote on X: “Music friends .. how do yall cure writers block ….over the years I’ve had different methods. Curious what yall do.”

The former MMG representative then added: “I done talked to Cole bout the block a rack of times .. one time we try teach me how to meditate.. it worked a lil .. we made ‘my boy’ right after,” referencing their 2018 collaboration.

The pair have had a complicated relationship over the years, but the duo did reunite last year at the 40th birthday party for the former’s longtime manager Ibrahim “Ib” Hamad.
