The race is about to start! Funimation's dub of Appare-Ranman!, the trans-continental wacky racing anime from P.A. Works, premieres tomorrow — and the company has tweeted out an announcement featuring the three leads for the English-language localization.

Appare, eccentric inventor and builder of his own steam-powered racing car, will be voiced in the dub by Lee George (Mordred in RADIANT, Itejiro Toteki in My Hero Academia). Kosame, Appare's samurai protector, will be voiced by Ivan Jasso (Captain Dragunov in RADIANT, Kyosuke Kuga in Prince of Stride: Alternative). And appearing as Hototo, a boy who teams up with the duo in hopes of finding his family's killer, is Emi Lo (Rakko Yumiya in A Certain Scientific Railgun T, Organ in Demon Lord, Retry!).
In Appare-Ranman!, inventor Appare and his protector Kosame set off for an adventure — and find themselves stranded in Los Angeles. Desperate for a way home, they enter the "Trans-American Wild Race" for a chance at its massive cash prize. Driving a car built by Appare, the duo must fight their way past rival racers and other challenges to make it to the finish line.
