#Viral video shows gender reveal flare hitting dad in the crotch

He might not have to worry about planning any more gender reveal parties…

Viral video shows the brutal moment a Massachusetts dad fired a canister of blue powder straight at his crotch during a gender reveal party.

Footage shared by The Sun shows Tom Cressotti, 43, keeling over in pain during the Aug. 30 bash at his East Longmeadow home.

He and his wife Kristin, 36, each set off a flare to let family and friends know the gender of their second child.

The couple, their 4-year-old daughter Ella between them, could be seen on video getting ready to fire their contraptions as their guests counted down from five.

But while Kristin’s flare sent blue powder flying into the air — indicating she was expecting a boy — Tom hit himself straight in the family jewels.

He can be seen doubling over in agony on the ground, as his crotch bore the full brunt of the blast, which was meant to shoot powder 30 feet away.

“Hey, no need for a vasectomy!,” one of their friends quipped amid laughter from onlookers.

Meanwhile, Tom yelled out at his wife: “You gave it to me the wrong way!”

“Apparently this was all my fault!,” Kristin joked to The Sun, adding that Tom “was not permanently hurt by the accident and fully recovered within minutes.”

“Tom was just shocked that we were holding them the incorrect way.”

She added that: “When used correctly the powder should be dispersed 20-30 feet into the air. Since Tom’s cannon was unknowingly pointing right at his genitals, he was directly blasted.”

The couple’s baby boy is due on Feb. 7, 2021.

Video of the mishap was shared widely on social media, with folks joking about Tom’s future baby-making abilities and seeing the incident as yet another gender reveal party gone horribly wrong.
