#Video shows man attempting to sexually assault woman in NYC

A creep tried to rob a woman and then sexually assaulted her in a horrifying Brooklyn attack this week, cops said.

The 24-year-old victim was walking at the corner of White and Seigel streets in East Williamsburg at 9 p.m. Monday when a stranger approached her from behind, grabbed her by the throat, pushed her against a wall and demanded money, according to surveillance footage released by the NYPD.

When she said she had only $20, he allegedly shoved her against a parked car, put his hands in her pants and started touching her inappropriately, police sources said.

The victim screamed, and her attacker was spooked when he realized someone was actually inside the parked car, according to cops and the sources.

The suspect took off, fleeing into the Montrose Avenue L train station at 9:13 p.m., cops said.

No injuries were reported, and nothing was stolen.

Cops say the suspect is in his 20s and around 6-foot-2. He was last seen wearing a gray and black hooded sweat jacket, a dark colored backpack, a black Chicago Bulls baseball cap, dark colored jeans, black and white sneakers and a black Nike face mask.
