#VA Chorus Unit Healer Girls Performs “A Cruel Angel’s Thesis” on Stage

 

 

The voice actresses/singer unit Healer Girls was formed by Karin Isobe, Akane Kumada, Marina Horiuchi, and Chihaya Yoshitake in March 2021 as a result of their activities in BS11’s anime music program “Anison Days,” which airs every Friday night in Japan. 

 

Since then, they have performed covers of various anime songs featuring their beautiful chorus, such as “God knows…” (from The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya) and “Snow halation” (from Love Live!) and posted their performance vidoes on YouTube unther the project name “Anison Days× Healer Girls.”

Meanwhile, it has been announced that an original TV anime series titled Healer Girl inspired by the unit is now in the works. The concept of the anime is described as: “a musical healing animation with a new feeling that depicts the world of ‘healers’ who use songs to heal people.”

 

The four members are confirmed to join the anime as voice actresses – Karin Isobe as Kana Fujii, Marina Horiuchi as Reimi Istushiro, Akane Kumada as Hibiki Morishima, and Chihaya Yoshitake as Sonia Yanagi. Yasuhiro Irie (Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood) is attached to directed at Studio 3Hz (Sword Art Online Alternative Gun Gale Online). Its broadcast schedule has not yet been decided.
