#Usher’s Super Bowl Halftime Show Teased in Star-Studded New Trailer

Usher is getting fans hyped for his upcoming Super Bowl halftime performance.

On Friday, a trailer dropped for the Apple Music Super Bowl LVIII Halftime Show, which the Grammy winning singer will lead on February 11 from the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Set to his 2004 hit, “Yeah!”, the trailer beautifully weaves together over three decades footage of Usher, his legions of fans, and famous faces like Lebron James, J Balvin and Jung Kook.

“One performance, 30 years in the making,” the film says.

Usher announced in September that he would headline the Super Bowl halftime show by sharing a video of him receiving a phone call from Kim Kardashian telling him the news.

“It’s an honor of a lifetime to finally check a Super Bowl performance off my bucket list,” Usher said in a statement. “I can’t wait to bring the world a show unlike anything else they’ve seen from me before.”

“Thank you to the fans and everyone who made this opportunity happen,” the musician continued. “I’ll see you real soon.”

The show will hit a day after Usher’s highly anticipated ninth studio album, Coming Home, drops.

Fans can expect the Super Bowl show to feature one of his new songs, but some of his biggest hits across his catalog of boundary-pushing R&B, club ballads and global bangers.

The 2024 Super Bowl halftime show will mark Usher’s second Super Bowl appearance. In 2011 he performed alongside the Black Eyed Peas when they headlined the event.

The “U Got It Bad” singer wrapped up his My Way Las Vegas residency in December. Overcome with emotion, Usher was captured dropping to his knees as his dance crew surrounded him for the last performance of the residency, which began in July 2022.

Super Bowl LVIII will air live on CBS.
