“#86 EIGHTY-SIX TV Anime Animators Celebrate Episode 1 With Illustrations of Lena”

One of the most anticipated premieres of the spring 2021 anime season is the TV anime adaptation of Asato Asato’s light novel series 86 EIGHTY-SIX, which started on Saturday right here on Crunchyroll. To celebrate the premiere, a key animator and animation director on the series posted special illustrations on their Twitter accounts featuring the lead character and the new handler of the Spearhead squadron, Lena, as well as Undertaker.

Toshimasa Ishii is be directing 86 EIGHTY-SIX at A-1 Pictures with a broadcast on TOKYO MX and affiliated station in Japan every Saturday at 24:00 (effectively 12 AM) and streams on Crunchyroll soon after at 9:30 AM PDT.
