#Udon Entertainment Hosts More Than A Married Couple, But Not Lovers Creator Yuki Kanamaru at Anime Expo 2024

Udon Entertainment announced that it will be hosting manga creator Yuki Kanamaru at Anime Expo 2024, in support of the English release of her series, More Than a Married Couple, But Not Lovers. It will be Kanamaru’s first-ever U.S appearance at an event. 

Kanamaru will participate in ticketed autograph sessions at the Udon booth #3725 during Anime Expo on July 5, 2024 and July 6, 2024. Autographs will be limited through required purchases and fans must obtain a ticket to secure their spot. More details will be available at the Udon booth. 

Special character can badges will also be available at Udon’s booth during the convention. 

Udon will be selling a special edition first volume of the manga series that features an original variant cover illustrated by Kanamaru herself. The standard first volume edition will be available from booksellers beginning August 2024. In addition, the first volume of the English release is a 2-in-1 edition that collected the manga’s first original two volumes. 

Udon first announced the licensing of More Than a Married Couple, But Not Lovers in July 2023. It describes the manga’s synopsis as: 

Jiro Yakuin, a high school student who lacks romantic experience, is paired up with a completely opposite girl, Akari Watanabe, as part of a class called “Marriage Practical”. They are required to live together and act like a married couple in order to earn the right to exchange partners with their crushes. Reluctantly, they begin their performance as a married couple, but can they handle what awaits them…!?
