#Two women among four shot in NYC early Sunday: NYPD

Four people — including two women — were shot in an attack in Queens early Sunday, according to police.

The group was hit at around 5 a.m. on Merrick Blvd in Jamaica opposite Roy Wilkins Park, with two cars — a Gray jeep and a gray sedan — fleeing the scene, the NYPD said.

A 23-year-old woman was shot in the leg, while a 24-year-old woman was shot in the foot. Two men, aged 26 and 27, were also hit in the leg.

All four were taken to Jamaica hospital, police said. It was not immediately clear how the victims were connected.
