The production team for Spy x Family has released a new key visual, highlighting scenes from the anime’s 16th episode. The latest episode consists of two narrative segments: “Yor’s Kitchen” and “The Informant’s Great Romance Plan.” 

The latest key visual of the series features a menacing Yor carrying home a brown paper bag, with her fingers shown to have several bandages. The visual also spotlights Yor’s younger brother, Yuri Briar, and a mysterious woman. 

The anime series has previously released key visuals for each new episode, with the most recent featuring Bond for episode 15. 

The first cour of Spy x Family premiered on April 9, 2022 and aired for 12 episodes. The second cour premiered on October 1, 2022. Crunchyroll, Bilibili, and Muse Asia are all streaming the show worldwide as it broadcasts in Japan.  

The production staff includes Kazuhiro Furuhashi (Dororo) as director, Kazuaki Shimada (The Promised Neverland Season 2) as character designer and co-chief animation director, and Kyouji Asano (Great Pretender) as co-chief animation director. Takashi Katagiri (Vivy -Fluorite Eye’s Song- episode director), Norihito Takahashi (Detective Conan: The Scarlet Bullet co-storyboarder and unit director) and Harada Takahiro (Akebi’s Sailor Uniform episode director) are the assistant directors. Wit Studio and CloverWorks are handling the animation production for the series. 

Other staff members consist of Satoshi Hashimoto (Ranking of Kings) as color designer, Kazuo Nagai (My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising) and Hisayo Usui (Akebi’s Sailor Uniform co-art director) as art directors, Akane Fushihara (Love of Kill) as photography director, and Yuuya Sakuma (Tokyo 24th Ward) as assistant photography director. 

The main voice cast for Spy x Family includes Takuya Eguchi as Loid Forger, Saori Hayami as Yor Forger, Atsumi Tanezaki as Anya Forger, and Kenichirou Matsuda as Bond Forger. 

The original manga by Tatsuya Endou was first launched in Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ online magazine and app on March 25, 2019, under the Jump Comics+ label. 10 tankoubon volumes have been released as of October 2022.
