The official website for the SHOW BY ROCK!! anime franchise has announced that its forthcoming fourth TV series SHOW BY ROCK!! STARS!! is set to premiere on TOKYO MX and BS Fuji on January 7, 2021, then on Sun TV one day later. It is also scheduled to be aired on Hokkaido Bunka Housou soon after.
Prior to its TV premiere, an advance screening event for its first two episodes is set to be held at the Shinjuku Wald9 theater in Tokyo on December 27, 2020. Three main voice cast members from the anime – Eri Inagawa (Cyan Hijirikawa / Cyan), Hikaru Touno (Howan), and Yuko Natsuyoshi (Mashima Himeko) will also join the event for a talk show on the stage. Following the advance sale on Lawson Ticket between November 29 and December 13, the general sale for the 2,700 yen ticket will be held between December 16 and 24.
In the new series, a total of 11 bands are scheduled to appear – Mashumairesh!!, Plasmagica, DOKONJOFINGER, Shingan Crimsonz, REIJINGSIGNAL, Trichronika, Tsurezurenaru Ayatsuri Mugenan, Criticrista, BUDVIRGINLOGIC, ARCAREAFACT, and Yokazenohorizon, who will join a TV anime story for the first time.
