Turkey! Time to Strike Spotlights Sayuri Ichinose in New Character Trailer
The newest character trailer has been released for the Turkey! -Time to Strike- TV anime series, spotlighting the kind-hearted Sayuri Ichinose. The series is scheduled to premiere in Japan on July 8, 2025.
Susumu Kudo (Joran: The Princess of Snow and Blood, Momentary Lily co-director) is directing the original anime series, with Airi Takekawa (Pandora to Akubi sub-character designer) as character designer, Naomi Hiruta (Spaghetti Code Love live-action film) as scriptwriter, and Masanori Nabana as main animator. Bakken Record is handling the animation production.
Meanwhile, the anime’s main voice cast stars:
- • Hana Ishikawa as Mai Otonashi
- • Kana Ichinose as Rina Godai
- • Haruki Iwata as Sayuri Ichinose
- • Yuuki Tenma as Nozomi Mitaka
- • Ayasa Ito as Nanase Nikaido
The anime was first announced in December 2023 and is produced by Pony Canyon. The show takes place in Nagano’s Chikuma City.

Will you believe me? A story that is mysterious, precious, bittersweet, and irreplaceable — Can’t be described as simply fun. “Turkey” is a bowling term for scoring three consecutive strikes.
This is the story of Mai, the “a genius who never wins” and her teammates — Rina, Sayuri, Nozomi, and Nanase members of the Ikkokukan High School Bowling Club. They fight, they fall, but they rise again, chasing victory.
This is the tale of a summer’s final chapter.
