#Trump’s limo, ‘The Beast,’ equipped with Goodyear tires he wants to boycott

President Trump called for a boycott of Goodyear on Wednesday, but his limousine — dubbed the “Beast” — is equipped with the company’s Kevlar-reinforced run-flats that can keep the armored vehicle running during an emergency.

When asked whether there are plans to change the tires, White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany said: “I’m not going to comment on security matters.”

The president slammed the tire giant because of a corporate diversity policy that reportedly banned employees from wearing his “MAGA” hats, among other conservative gear.

“Don’t buy GOODYEAR TIRES – They announced a BAN ON MAGA HATS,” Trump wrote in a tweet after an employee leaked a slide from a presentation that appeared to label Black Lives Matter and LGBT Pride “acceptable” messages, while “MAGA attire” was deemed “unacceptable” along with “Blue Lives Matter” and “All Lives Matter.”

The president added: “Get better tires for far less! (This is what the Radical Left Democrats do. Two can play the same game, and we have to start playing it now!).”

Topeka, Kansas, TV station WIBW published a photo of the slide snapped by the worker that purported to describe what was allowed under the company’s “Zero Tolerance” policy.

The station reported that the slide was part of a “diversity” training and came from Goodyear’s corporate headquarters. The company denied the assertions but didn’t explain who created the slide or the context in which it was presented.

During the White House press briefing, a reporter said it appeared that the Goodyear policy is just a ban on political speech and asked why Trump was retaliating against the company and possibly jeopardizing US jobs.

“Goodyear needs to come out and clarify their policy. I did see their statement which still failed to clarify their policy,” McEnany said.

“What happened is there was an image that was put out which showed that certain speech was acceptable, Black Lives Matter insignia, for instance, but what was not allowed was Blue Lives Matter. What was not allowed was MAGA hats,” she continued.

“What was clearly targeted was a certain ideology. They have not denied that that image was presented at one of their facilities.”

McEnany said the company cited “equity issues.”

“As far as I’m concerned, Blue Lives Matter is an equity issue. There have been police officers across this country that have been targeted because they wear the badge,” she said.

“Look no further than Dallas where five police officers died. So Black Lives Matter, an organization in their DC branch, said Black Lives Matter means defund the police,” McEnany continued.

“One of their presidents in New York said we will burn down the system. We all remember in 2015 the yelling of ‘Pigs in a blanket,’ ‘Fry ’em like bacon’ at a Black Lives Matter rally,” she said. “That speech is allowed but Blues Lives Matter is not allowed? I will stand at this podium and say Blue Lives Matter is an equity issue and Goodyear needs to come out and acknowledge that.”

McEnany said Trump was addressing his supporters with his tweet.

“The president will never apologize for standing with law enforcement. He won’t. He thinks it’s unacceptable. If you can wear a Black Lives Matter hat, guess what? You should be able to wear a Blue Lives Matter one, too.”
