#Trump takes another swipe at Nancy Pelosi over salon visit she says was a ‘setup’

President Trump took a fresh swipe at House Speaker Nancy Pelosi for her illicit shampoo session at a COVID-shuttered salon — and for claiming that she’d been tricked into the embarrassing affair.

“If so, how will she do in negotiations against President Xi of China, President Putin of Russia, or Kim Jong Un of North Korea,” Trump mused on Twitter Saturday.

“Not so well, I suspect, but far better than Joe Hiden’ would do!” he added — deploying a new nickname for the Democratic presidential nominee.

A maskless Pelosi was caught on a security camera Monday as she had her tresses tended inside a San Francisco salon that has been closed for months, by order of city authorities, to tamp down the spread of coronavirus.

Pelosi has insisted that the salon’s owner, Erica Kious, lured her into the appointment to shame her — a charge that Kious called “absolutely false.”

Trump’s tweet amplified a point he made during a raucous campaign rally in Latrobe, Pa., on Thursday.

“If she was set up then she shouldn’t be leading the House of Representatives,” Trump exclaimed in the 90-minute stemwinder. “Nancy, you’re not supposed to get set up, you’re representing our country.”
